Hello :)
Right, sometimes I go on to TED (http://www.ted.com/) to check out some mental futuristic technology that I will never be able to afford to even see in real-life and to get some inspiration because I do that sometimes. So... Im on TED, click on Design, and see this for a title: 'How Pig parts make the world turn'. So I thought, this is either gonna be ridiculous, or genius, either way... im Blogging that mofo!
Heres the link to the video:
http://www.ted.com/talks/christien_meindertsma_on_pig_05049.html
But its not that good so dont watch it! Haha
Basically, it has a good point that pigs aren't just used for meat, there used in loads of things like toothpaste, bread, paint, BEER... But this woman (Christien Meindertsma... shes Dutch), followed a Pig for 3years to see like what happened to it and stuff, then made it into a book, and the book looks cool, she got the pigs ear tag on it and everything, so I like that.
But the point of me putting this in my blog is:
1. I already decided before I watched it
2. To point everybodys attention to ted.com
3. Because I love bacon and gammon
4. To ask the question:
If Pigs are part of this many things, other than bacon, isnt it a bit hypocritical for Vegetarians to not eat meat, but slap paint around containing part of a Pig, with a paintbrush which has Pig in. So there just... spreading dead Pig, with a Pig!?!
Think about it... or ignore... it makes no difference.
Thank you, Goodnight
